Renting In LA: Hollywood Hills

Home to movie stars and studio executives, the Hollywood Hills are also home to some of the best apartments in Los Angeles. Though the Hollywood Hills technically stretch west to above West Hollywood, I want to focus on the Hollywood Hills neighborhood around Franklin Village, which lies east of the 101 freeway, north of Franklin Avenue, and west of Western Avenue. This area of the Hollywood Hills is a convenient commute to downtown LA or the San Fernando Valley with its easy access to the freeway, as well as Koreatown, Hancock Park, Miracle Mile, and, of course, Hollywood. If you are a young professional in the entertainment industry or an artist, this neighborhood is a great place to live.
The Hollywood Hills is a quiet and safe neighborhood with a crime rate that is on par or lower than the surrounding areas. Though the average rental price is a little higher than Hollywood, the beautiful old buildings of the Golden Age of Hollywood have considerable charm. In fact, we have several Art Deco Apartments in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood. See what we have available here. This neighborhood, which includes Franklin Village has a great walk score of 78 with a nearby Gelson’s, coffee shops and restaurants, and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre.
